KGUA - 88.3 Gualala, Ca
 
Built from the ground up by Peggy Berryhill and Susan Ruschmeyer, KGUA is dedicated to sharing the voices of our coastal, forests and towns, including the Pomo Rancherias and Latino communities.
 KGUA’s daily schedule includes news, science and sustainable living shows, along with a range of music. 
KGUA is a full powered non-commercial educational radio station. Transmitting at 2800 watts KGUA covers a 75 mile stretch of the beautiful Northern Sonoma County and Southern tip of Mendocino County. This area was given the nickname “Mendonoma” by Joanna McLaughlin the first publisher of the newspaper, the Independent Coast Observer.
Peggy's Place
It is the signature program at KGUA. Peggy describes it as a time to meet your neighbors and friends. In the ten years since the show began Peggy has interviewed more than 1200 people. Artists, fishers, teachers, scientists, environmentalists, photographers, locals and visitors. Peggy'S Place also covers national and breaking news. Peggy's Place airs at 9AM PST Monday through Friday and repeats at 1 PM PST.
KGUAWriters is the newest weekly addition to Peggy's Place. Writer Mark Gross and Peggy collaborated to create  program that  encourages anyone to respond to a simple word prompt. Since the shows inception there are now a stable of 60 contributors,  many from the coastal community, other states including writers from Budapest,France, and Singapore.KGUAWriters airs every Monday, repeating at 1 PM and  6 PM on Saturdays.
The Drift is a weekly travel tourism show. Host Seve Cardosi interviews local world travelers, artists, and change makers. We drift into various topics that inspire, intrigue, and inform listeners about a multitude of topics. The drift airs Sundays 11:30 on 88.3 fm in Gualala Ca. 28 -30 mins run times
