NMRC
Peggy Berryhill and Susan Ruschmeyer , life partners and work partners, decided it was time create a non-profit to create, collaborate and educate with media. The Native Media Resource Center founded in 1997 has worked with two Smithsonian Institutions , The American History Museum and the National Museum of the American. The NMRC has also collaborated with other Native Organizations including Vision Maker Media, Northern California Cultural Communications, KWSO Media and built a noncommercial community radio station in Gualala, California KGUA-FM 88.3. Ruschmeyer is a professional Land Surveyor and her eye for detail also make her an excellent editor and she is the CFO for the NMRC.
